Story
Shampoo was born in Joketsuzoku Village in China. She was the best female fighter in the village. Just outside
of the village there are sacred training grounds of Jusenkyo, Ranma and his father were training there when
they both fell into the pond of Jusenkyo and became cursed. Ranma transforms into a female version of himself
and his father turns into a panda when splashed with cold water. While participating in a martial
arts contest Shampoo meets Ranma (girl version) and is eventually defeated by him. Ranma and his father entered
the contest to win the prize of a banquet lunch table. Aggravated by the lose Shampoo gives Ranma (girl version)
the "kiss of death" which is a promise to track down and kill Ranma.
Shampoo returns to Jusenkyo and is trained by her crazy grandmother, Cologne. While training she too falls into
the well and is cursed. When Shampoo is splashed with cold water she turns into an adorable pink and white cat.
At first she is angered with the curse but soon finds it as an advantage because Ranma has a fear of cats. She
finishes her training then Shampoo and her grandmother travel to the "city of Nerima" in Tokyo, Japan in search for Ranma.
When Shampoo found Ranma in Tokyo she fell inlove with his male side and due to Chinese traditions she gave him
the "kiss of marriage" because he had won a fight against her. Throughout the series she is chasing him down
and trying to seduct him although he is meant for Akane. Despite her obsession the character Mousse does not
give up on Shampoo. He has had an everlasting love for her since they were kids and would do anything for her.
Shampoo and her grandmother stay in Nerima an open Cat Cafe (Neko Hanten), a chinese resturant, Shampoo works there as
a waitress and a delivery girl.
Shampoo would be described as innocent but deadly. She is very passionate and confident in herself. Basically
she'll do whatever it takes to get what she wants. She's sweet and sexy but can be evil and crazy. This
is why she's my favorite character, you never know what you're gonna get with her.
